TL;DR

KYC (Know Your Customer) is how BlastBet confirms your identity, age, and address. There are three levels: a basic phone number, a standard profile with name and email, and full verification with a government photo ID, selfie, and proof of address. You can play with low-value crypto deposits before completing KYC, but every first withdrawal needs at least Level 2, and large withdrawals or some specific bonuses need Level 3. Most reviews finish in 1 to 24 hours.

Why KYC exists

KYC is not optional and it isn't unique to BlastBet. We are licensed by the Anjouan Gaming Board and must follow international anti-money-laundering (AML) rules. Verification serves four purposes:

  • Meets regulatory obligations under our gaming licence
  • Helps prevent money laundering and fraud
  • Protects you from account takeover and identity theft
  • Confirms you meet the legal age (18+, or 19+ in some regions)

What you provide at each level

BlastBet uses three KYC levels. You only complete the level required by what you want to do — there's no need to jump straight to Level 3.

LevelWhat you provideRequired for
Level 1 — BasicPhone numberInterac deposits, some bonuses
Level 2 — StandardFirst name, last name, phone, emailFirst withdrawal of any kind
Level 3 — FullAll of the above plus government photo ID (passport, driver's licence, or national ID), a selfie, and proof of address (utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 3 months)Large withdrawals, no-deposit bonuses, source-of-funds reviews

Each level builds on the one below, so once you complete Level 3 you don't need to redo Level 1 or 2.

How to submit

  1. Open Verification. Sign in to BlastBet, go to Account, then Verification (the section may be labelled Profile on some devices).
  2. Pick the level. The page shows what's needed for each level and what it unlocks.
  3. Upload your documents. Use clear, well-lit photos. All four corners of each document must be visible and the text legible. Take the photo of your ID against a flat, plain surface.
  4. Add the selfie (Level 3). Hold your ID next to your face if prompted, in good lighting, no filter.
  5. Submit and wait. Most reviews complete within 1 to 24 hours. First-time KYC can take up to 48 hours.

You can keep playing eligible games while your documents are under review. Only withdrawals are gated by KYC.

Things to watch for

  • Name on ID must match the account. If your registered name differs from your ID, update your profile before submitting.
  • IDs must be valid. Expired passports, licences, or national IDs will be rejected.
  • Proof of address must be recent. Utility bills or bank statements must be dated within the last 3 months.
  • Don't redact the MRZ. The machine-readable zone at the bottom of a passport must be visible. We need the full image.
  • One document per upload slot. Don't combine a passport and a utility bill into a single photo.
  • Self-exclusion is separate. Responsible gambling tools (limits, cool-off, self-exclusion) are managed in their own section and don't require KYC to use.

If anything is rejected, support's response will tell you exactly what to fix. Resubmit and the review queue picks the file up again.
